A week has pasted and the new platform edge is starting to rebuild, but with new bricks at first.

St Pancras railway station, also known as London St Pancras and since 2007 as St Pancras International, is a central London railway terminus celebrated for its Victorian architecture. The Grade I listed building stands on Euston Road in St Pancras, London, between the British Library, King's Cross station and the Regent's Canal. It was opened in 1868 by the Midland Railway as the southern terminus of that company's Midland Main Line, which connected London with the East Midlands and Yorkshire. When it opened, the arched Barlow train shed was the largest single-span roof in the world.

After escaping planned demolition in the 1960s, the complex was renovated and expanded during the 2000s at a cost of £800 million with a ceremony attended by the Queen and extensive publicity introducing it as a public space. A security-sealed terminal area was constructed for Eurostar services to Continental Europe—via High Speed and the Channel Tunnel—along with platforms for domestic connections to the north and south-east of England. The restored station houses fifteen platforms, a shopping centre and a bus station, in addition to London Underground services from King's Cross St Pancras tube station. St Pancras is owned by London and Continental Railways along with the adjacent urban regeneration area known as King's Cross Central. The redeveloped terminus has been described as "the world's most wonderful railway station"

A visit to a Brunei Shell oilfield off Seria, western Brunei, early 1980s

Photo from internet - The platform is 3,250 feet high, weighs approximately 36,500 tons, and is in 2,940 feet of water. Mars was producing 150,000 barrels of oil per day and

170 million cubic feet of gas per day before the shut down. According to

Shell Oil the oil pipeline from the platform will remain shut-in until

repairs can be made. Shell owns 71.5 percent of the Mars platform and BP

owns the rest. It's now got some structural issues to deal with.

A controversial structure which provides views across Hawke's Bay. A steel canopy sits atop concrete encased steel piles hammered 15m into the bedrock. Completed in December 2015, it was actually designed to hide a new stormwater pipe and was never intended to be a pier that goes out over the water. Critics argue that it was a missed opportunity to create a structure ideal for swimming and fishing and a waste of $1.4 million.

Carriage BCH-121 is seen in platform 1 at Melton after arriving from Melbourne on the rear of the 4:15pm 'down' passenger train from Southern Cross to Bacchus Marsh, hauled by loco A-62.
