The low sun shines on the southbound platform at W 8th St Station. This platform is typically empty, as very few people board a train here heading towards Coney Island, one station away.

I was having a clear out and came across these shoes, I also have a black pair.
Not something I could ever wear because I am already tall and these would be like walking around with a neon sign saying look at me.
Platform H North takes its place inside High Bay 3 of the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Below are Platforms J and K.
Platform H will allow technicians and engineers to reach the booster for mating of the forward/center segment to the center/center segment, as well as cable routing and booster closeouts. It is the third of 10 levels of work platforms that will surround and provide access to the Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft for Exploration Mission 1. The Ground Systems Development and Operations Program is overseeing upgrades and modifications to VAB High Bay 3, including installation of the new work platforms, to prepare for NASA’s journey to Mars.

FDCB is proud to present a very unique apparatus: Rescue Platform 2! It is unique due to the fact is one of very few remounted Aerialscopes on a Pierce Quantum Chassis. RP 2 was formerly Blue Hills Truck 1 prior to annexation of Castle Beach Fire where it was originally stationed at Station 7 as Truck 7.
Prior to the acquisition, Rescue Platform 2 was formerly a 1991 Mack CF with a 95 ft. Aerialscope. After serving the city for more than 20 years, the city of Blue Hills decided to refurbish the apparatus instead of buying a new Aerialscope. It was during this process that Castle Beach annexed Blue Hills. After extensive research, the department decided to have Pierce MFG refurbish the apparatus. To make this truck even more distinct from other remounts, the department specified the Aerialscope to be mounted onto the Pierce Quantum chassis. The department also changed the compartment doors from swing out style to customized roll up compartments. Also, a new pump was added and the water tank was removed to add storage space.
After nearly a year in service as Truck 7, the apparatus committee re-evaluated Truck 7 and determined that the lack of key equipment and ground ladders caused some issues on the fire ground in several incidents. In addition, maneuverability was a problem when setting up for aerial operations, especially in tight spaces. However, members loved the use of a platform for master stream operations as well as rescue operations, hence, the rig will be kept as a special call apparatus for 2nd alarm fires, just like Rescue Platform 1. The rig will be housed at Station 2 when the "new" Truck 7 arrives from refurbishment.

In addition, the apparatus carries 211 ft. of ground ladders. The complement consists of extension ladders, wall ladders, and roof ladders. The extension ladder complement consists of one 35 ft. ladder, one 14 ft. ladder, one 12 ft ladder, and one collapsible 10 ft. ladder. The wall ladder complement includes two 24 ft. ladders and two 16 ft. ladders. The roof ladder complement has one 20 ft. ladder, one 16 ft. ladder, and two 12 ft. ladders.

The bedding on my beds are interchangable. So you can switch from a made bed, to one that your doll can lay in and look to be sleeping.
A bit different to the norm on my Flickr, after wondering around the Loopline, I came across these platforms, which are the remains of the old Worsley station which opened on the 1st September 1864 and closed 5th May 1969.
Sadly sat in a bit of a dark patch but I think its rare for one to depart from platform 20. It is 43132 that was ready to leave Edinburgh with 1A91 1730 to Aberdeen 20/12/24.
New Haven Railroad heavyweight round roof combo MUT trailer leads other powered MUT coaches eastbound along the electrified main line as enters the station platform area in Bridgeport, Connecticut, ca 1960. These Osgood-Bradley round roof MUTS built between 1926-1931 provided excellent service over the years. There were only two combo baggage coaches ordered. In this view you can really see the detail of the hair pin fence that separates the two express tracks from the station platform tracks. There are a couple people seen on the arriving train platform.

The TPO has just arrived, it's late and the barrows are in the wrong places. Meanwhile a couple of late night passengers are still waiting for the sleeper train. All done on Loughborough GCR Station with the help of a Neil Cave / Jason Cross charter.
2315D/2347D pass the demolished Yeronga platform with a loaded coal bound for Port. Yeronga station was in the process of being rebuilt as part of the Cross River Rail project.
Taken in the Hidden London tour of Charing Cross's Jubilee platforms.
The Charing Cross Jubilee platforms opened in 1979, originally as a terminus to the line running from Stanmore. Before the platforms opened, a plan was developed to extend the Jubilee line onwards to Stratford; the route meant the line would pass onwards through Westminster instead, leading to the closure of the Charing Cross platforms.
The tour ran through the Jubilee platforms, the ventilation shaft, through to a spoil tunnel that extended out under Trafalgar Square to beyond the fourth plinth (this tunnel led to a shaft where the spoil from digging the station and tunnels was removed).
