Recorded passing Bromsgrove, Class 47/4 47826 [in the original InterCity livery] was hauling the SX 07:13 Bath Spa to Manchester Piccadilly InterCity service. When running as 47637, the locomotive carried the 'Springburn' plates from June 1987 and they were initially retained after renumbering in 1989 but removed before the year-end. The plates were re-applied in November 2001 and remained in situ until the locomotive was repainted into WCRC maroon livery in July 2007.

This plate was on display in the room I stayed in at a ryokan in Yugawara, Shizuoka, Japan. The kind of thing that would surely get stolen from any other hotel room in just about any other country in the world.
One of my favorite plates. A Mother's Day gift from my sweet mama!!

This glass plate is made of the same sturdy glass I use for the wine and champagne glasses, and has been painted with a grape motif repeated around the rim in dishwasher safe Vitrea baked on paint.
The plate is 10.75 inches in diameter (27.5 cm) or dinner-plate sized.

Goniochromatype (a variant of orotone technique)
Changing color glass plate made with the use of goniochromatic pigments. (in other words, which have the ability to change color depending on the angle of view and the incidence of light). It is finally a variant of the orotone process that has existed for a long time, but instead of a golden paint, I use special pigment mixtures that I apply to a positive image on glass. I already published other posts on this subject to present this variant of the historical process that is the orotone, you will find all this on my FB page.
