I finally painted (or more specific: used PlastiDip) the front bumper too, after good comments on the result of the rear bumper. In the 10 years I have this BX the red plastic unpainted bumpers had faded from dark red to pretty much white. Chemicals and heating did only work shortly, if at all. PlastiDip seemed a good alternative, not ruining the structure of the bumper, not getting too much shine on it and also being reversible. Now let's find out how long this will hold.
You don't see many SQ5s around (yet).. let alone lowered with aftermarket wheels and PlastiDip (soon to be wrapped).

This S2000 is pretty well-known around MA.. goes through tons of phases. Owner does a lot of PlastiDip work for people, and he does amazing work. This car was once mint green with white wheels. Both PlastiDip of course. :D

I replaced my rear brake pads and rotors a few days ago and reached the point that I needed to go embed the pads into the rotors so that meant a trip to a pretty desolate little dead end where I could do some 60-20 runs. After I got the brakes nice and smelly I decided to grab a shot with the setting sun in the background.

I went out recently with my good friend Jonathan to take some car photos now that we are back in town on break. Checked out a new spot my brother told me about and I was able to borrow and another good friend's lens, Jake, just got a Rokinon 85mm 1.4 manual and damn is it crisp. Check it out!
