Honestly I am still so pleased to have got this fabulous shot yesterday morning. It wasnāt that easy, I was lucky enough to catch him when eventually he was taking a break.

Mom and Georgie were playing around the pool yesterday. I thought it would be a good opportunity to try out some continuous shooting so I could get a good action shot. I chose this photo as my favourite of the bunch as the spray of water off the ball looks fantastic.

In spring and summer, males can be heard to give a whiit call.

One of the natural history displays in the National Museum. The top floor of the museum is dedicated to natural history and has six halls named Stepping Out in All Directions; Water, Our Element; From Water to Land; Conquering the Air; Conquering the Earth and The Planet of Animals. This skeleton of a fin whale is 22 metres in length. Truly impressive. Also on display is a 17m giant squid and the last white rhino ever to live.

Saw some seagulls at the beach. Was able to get close to one without it flying away and took this shot. Been trying out a few pictures the last few days with this Matte editing look, and I think this one turned out great.

Was out taking pictures of Georgie playing in the backyward and heard some chirping noises coming from the trees. Took a look and saw this cute little yellow bird chirping away on the very top of a tree by the fence. Took a substantial crop, and the bird looked great!
