Pictured at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre is Avro Lancaster NX611 'Just Jane', built in 1945 by Austin Motors at Longbridge near Birmingham.
Although not, as yet, in flying condition it can be seen taxiing around the airfield at specified times.
Located at East Kirkby Airfield, Lincolnshire, the centre is well worth a visit to see the heritage aircraft and vehicles as well as the preserved airfield buildings themselves.

It was the little guest of the day..whe he came as a ferry flight althought i would have prefered a different reg.
Indeed, i shooted him well at Leipzig (LEJ) three weeks ago and a couple of times at Strasbourg (SXB) two years ago ;)
