After doing a circuit of the airfield we did what Skiathos airport is famous for and stood at the end of the runway as the planes came in to land, literally 20 feet above our heads.

Must have a nice view up there in the plane, at least if anybody is in. The glow yesterday evening over Nieuwe Meer Amsterdam did me think of Coldplay's song Everglow :-)

The sky was full of clouds as the sun began to rise.

It was tinging the clouds orange and I noticed this plane approaching so waited for it to move through the cloud and leave its vapour trail.
