PERSONAL FUN FACT: This is the sort of Girl of Today item that I am super nostalgic for. I love the original, classic Girl of Today logo that is printed on it. I specifically remember seeing these pajamas in the catalogues for ages. My sister and I would always love to stare at the bedtime section in particular, since we liked the old Girl of Today bunk bed. I really hope to find the other piece to these pajamas one day, but I'm so glad I was able to find the top! I bought these at the local flea market in 2015. A seller had a bunch of random American Girl scraps from the 90s. This shirt, Molly's "meet" sock, and Kirsten/Molly's Theater Kits were among some of the things we got altogether for $3 (if memory serves me correctly). Although I don't have the jammy pants, this does work well as a regular shirt for everyday wear.

"Cathedral of Steam" is often applied to stations with an overall roof but with the sunbeams streaming through the lofty roof lights of Leicester Belgrave Road this deserves the description. At the bufferstops at 17.06 on 5th September 1959 is Thompson B1 4-6-0 61177 of Colwick shed. The loco has drawn the attention of one young lad, beyond him is a chap in sports coat and flannels, he is looking directly at Peter and he has a rather bored expression, I wonder if he was an unwilling companion at the end of a working trip to Leicester. 61177 was built 25/06/1947 and lasted until 22/09/1963 it was cut in December of that year.

As much as i love skirts and dresses, I also love just relaxing in a warm set of girly pjs. I wore these most nights in Phx. My only regret i could not get a pedi while there

After mastering a sewing machine, I shall learn to crochet next....meanwhile, I can pretend I have crocheted my very own PJs LOL!

PERSONAL FUN FACT: I just can't with Olive in this outfit. She absolutely melts my heart! It looks almost as cute on my childhood Bitty, even though she's discolored from my years of compulsive cleaning as a child. Anyways, my main focus when placing an American Girl order in February 2023 was to snag Wellie Wishers clothes. Colleen and I had just been given FIVE woe begone Wellies in the "Wondrous Wellie Wishers Lot." There was not a stitch of clothing between the five dollies. But after using a few of Colleen's hoarded Barnes and Nobles gift cards for two Wellie outfits, we could order some other types of clothes. We realized we'd get the most mileage out of the promotional sale and our rewards coupon by purchasing only things in the Last Chance Outlet. I didn't want to spend enough to qualify for free shipping...so my rewards points basically took care of that. But we still saved a lot of money between the several discounts. Anyways, I first added the two Wellie outfits to the cart, and then I snatched up the Bitty Baby ones. The majority of my Bitty Baby clothes were purchased on sale or while thrifting. I've been able to build quite a wardrobe for my babies since I started buying them an outfit or two when AG runs sales (that began all the way back in 2016).
