sooo good. We get it without the rosemary though as I can't stand even the smell of the stuff... (from the menu: Pizza bread baked with garlic and mozzarella served with caramelised balsamic onions)

This delicious looking pizza bread is sadly all finished now ... my dad made this and it was utterly tasty ... so I enjoyed the slice cut off (bigger one or smaller, I wont tell :P) with Faiz's superb shayiri ... Recently bought Nuskha hayay wafa so thorouly enjoyng the pieces of poetry ... just like that ...!!

and yah happy Independence day ... a day late though :D

I don't usually post recipes. The brains behind this one is my Granddaughter Mikaely, who lives in Portland Oregon, and currently is in college studying Graphic Design. So it's her recipe and her idea. I just Photoshopped the pepperoni Out of Bounds, and wrapped the recipe around the stack.

We haven't tried this yet...but it looks like it might be pretty good.

Kalamata Olive Bread Pizza, made in the toaster oven! (The pizza, not the bread; you'll need a bread machine for that!) Recipe here.

Well, ok...maybe it's not *world-renowned*, but I did make it. : P There's extra if anyone's hungry. : )

(Converted to black and white, contrast adjusted.)

**Now, this is my own recipe. I used to buy a similar type of pizza bread from the neighborhood pizza place, but it was rediculously expensive and I figured that it would be easy enough to recreate at home for 1/3 of the cost (or less). This is as close as I can come to getting it to taste like theirs. The recipe is very quick, easy and filling, as well.

Trina's Pizza Bread

Serves 6

6 sub or hoagie buns (the 6" size)

1 package of pepperoni

2 cups shredded mozzerella cheese (more or less, depending upon your preferences)

1 8 ounce can of tomato paste (you can subsitute tomato sauce, but it's messy and doesn't have enough flavor to suit me)

Toppings of choice (mushrooms, sausage, peppers, etc.)

Turn oven to "Broil".

Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil.

Split the hoagie buns and arrange on the cookie sheet, so that the sides are touching and the split sides are facing up.

Add 8 pieces of pepperoni to the bottom half of the bun. (For the vegetarian version, skip the pepperoni. LOL)

Put the buns under the broiler for a few seconds (long enough to brown them slightly).

Remove from oven and spread approximately one tablespoon of tomato paste to the top half of the bun.

Add desired toppings, spreading them equally over the top and bottom halves, then smother both halves in the desired amount of cheese.

Place under the broiler until the cheese is browned (approximately 3-5 minutes).

Immediately after removing from oven, place top and bottom halves of the pizza bread together. (This way, the sandwich "melds" together and you can eat it without wearing most of it. If you wait too long, the sandwich halves will not stick together.).

That's it. I usually cut them in half and serve them with a side of homemade french fries. Hope y'all enjoy. : )

Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Quick Bread

I used turkey pepperoni instead of regular so it was a bit healthier and just as tasty!
