Los Píxel – Invítame
La experiencia al servicio de lo nuevo tiene nombre. Se llama Píxel. Es el nombre de una banda venezolana que en esta década nos ha logrado mostrar cómo el recorrido de sus integrantes ha servido para ser capaz de cimentar un piso de canciones que sostiene la estructura de una vida entregada a la música. Habiendo crecido en bandas de los ochenta y noventa, el recorrido logró llegar a este proyecto.
Ha sido uno de los más reconocidos artistas que de Venezuela se ha escuchado en los últimos años, por su manera de darnos a conocer la amalgama de rock, blues y ecos del punk unido con letras de clara referencia al drama urbano. Bien sabemos que Caracas es una ciudad que está calentándose mucho y si bien ya ha estallado en otras ocasiones, no estaremos lejos de tener un día donde se queme del todo y paguen por sus cenizas.
Los Píxel se encargan de mostrar canciones angustiosas, rápidas y efectivas. Nos pueden hacer sentir con ganas de efervescer debido a su efectiva dosis de rapidez, pero que no descuida el angustio romántico. Con este disco, publicado en el 2003, recorrieron tarimas y locales de ese país, ganándose un lugar dentro de la movida local y por ende continental.
Por eso, no tengo nada. Por eso, siempre voy a correr.

We celebrate light in our pictures. Understanding how light interacts with the camera is paramount to the work we do. The temperature, intensity and source of light can wield different photography effect on the same subject or scene; add ISO, aperture and speed, the camera, the lens type, focal length and filters…the combination is varied and multi-layered and if you know how to use them all, you will come to appreciate that all lights are useful, even those surrounded by a lot of darkness.
We are guided by three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, our longing to capture in print, that which is beautiful, the constant search for the one picture, and constant barrage of new equipment and style of photography. These passions, like great winds, have blown us across the globe in search of the one and we do understand the one we do look for might be this picture right here for someone else out there.

This was for the pixel man assignment. I used Vertical orientation and i got in close to the subject. I like this photo because i felt like i did really well with the scenery, i felt like it added a lot to the image. I deserve an A+
