This lamp from IKEA called TERTIAL reminds me of the animated lamp from PIXAR.

I was building Pixar's Luxo Jr. and decided to build the Pixar Animation Studios logo with my older WALL-E, EVE and M-O figures.

Prompts: pet and child, cute pixar art style.

brought a group of students for a drawing trip at Pixar Exhibition at the Science Centre. Fanstatic displays. Students are inspired to sketch their favourite characters.

Museum of Science in Boston. Content was amazing as well as the overall exhibition design. A must see if this comes to your town!

They make some damn fine films, don't they? Pixar's streak has been incredible: easily better than what Disney was up to in early 90s and I'd argue better than even Disney's 1930s-1950s animation output. In retrospect it's obvious that Pixar was the heir to Walt Disney's animation throne in the west (with Hayao Miyazaki taking it in the east). I never understand these people up in arms that Pixar stuff shows up in Disney parks: Pixar is arguably more "Disney" than Disney itself.

Hello everybody, I've made some builds from Disney Pixar so here they are 😉

WALL-E: This is actually based off of Sean Kenney's build, with my own tweaks.

Luxo The Lamp: I got the inspiration from some Lego Disney video games and built the iconic Pixar Lamp, I think he turned out quite well!

Please feel free to give me feedback on my builds, and lemme know if you like seeing more MOC's. 😉

Bye! -Colby Customs :B (:B is buck teeth idk XD)

I thought I'd try this one for a #ratrod a Modified version of Mater from Pixar 'Cars', named 'Towminator'.

Modifications include the obligatory suspension drop, fat wheels and boosted engine.

Stylistically 'Towminator' gets a set of less friendly teeth.

Designed for #mocaroundgang challenge 48 for ratrods.

Ah, closing time. The only time there isn't 10,000 screaming rug rats and 120 minute wait times in this area.

I was asked by the nice Jerrod Maruyama - www.flickr.com/photos/jmaruyama - to contribute an illustration to the awesome Pixar Times Blog.

See it here along with a little interview I´ve did: pixartimes.com/2011/07/08/pixart-july-2011-feature-monste...

Many years ago, Angus MacLane (Pixar Director and AFOL Superstar) came up with a bunch of fun fads that we all built - one of them was the Couch Potatoes!

With his new Lightyear movie, I decided to go down memory lane and write about some of his fun concepts - you can read more @Bricknerd:

For the occasion, I decided to build a Buzz Lightyear that fit his Couch Potatoes theme!

Who else wants to make one of these fun things for BFVA?

This would be a dream job, wouldn't it?

Just another beautiful day for a panorama of Pixar Pier.

There is some great Cars 2 art there now, go check it out!

From their website: Pixar Putt is an "open-air mini-golf experience made up of 18 fun and interactive holes inspired by the stories, characters, and icons from some of Pixar's most beloved films." No, I am not advertising for Pixar, but I liked this colorful shot in Battery Park City in Lower Manhattan. The World Trade Center can be seen in the rear right.

These Pixar Alien Remix toys are the cutest! Love how the packaging is like a pizza box.
