The Pirate by Daniel Arrhakis (2015)
He's name Captain Old Crow .. or the Black Crow ... It is reputed to appear when someone dies ... and today is one of these days ... that the devil take him faraway from here !!

Second creation inspired by a Playmobil set (#3112) : "Pirates Prison"
So I tried to get as close as possible to the original model that I have, while adding a touch of realism. The rear of the building reveals a prison with a sliding door.
I tagged Matija Grguric for his fantastic beam technique !

Yeah, I've got my Maskcat Lisette two weeks ago. She is so cute I could'nt resist : I made her face up (and manicure).
She stole my Dolltsown J eyes, my Elfdoll/fairyland clothes and here she goes! The wig is hers. It's the one she was send with, I only add dreads and beads in her hair.
When I see a bunch of shells on the beach, I want to hoard them like a pirate. At some point in history, these were money.
This photo is reprocessed from an earlier version here. (justenoughfocus.smugmug.com/Portfolio/Full/i-MVVZNj3) The tools for post-processing are continually being updated, so lately I've been having a little fun going back to old photos to tease out a new look. I don't recall what tools I used back in 2015, but this time, I used the latest version of Skylum's Luminar.
Nevertheless, what got my attention in this scene is all of the shells in the foreground; they must have been deposited after a storm. You can go to a store and buy a bag of shells for ten bucks, or you could just go to the beach and pick them up yourself. Better yet, send me the money, and I'll get them for you! (just kidding)
I know I've been posting a lot of figbarfs and not many MOCs lately, but I've just got a few more and then I'll get back to posting creations. Here's one of them, another pirate figbarf for the Hammertime 3K contest. Hope you like it!
Ahoy, fellow Duplo sailors!
Here is my eleventh and final entry for the Duplo Iron Builder against Eero.
Inspired by the game Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag I built this pirate ship. Like usually 100% Duplo, no Lego or other customs.
Also an alternative model for 4785 Black Castle.
Along with her shipmates this beautiful pirate entertained the crowds at the Dalkey Lobster Festival 2019.

Pirate wench at the St. Louis Renaissance Festival in Wentzville, Missouri by Notley Hawkins. The photograph was taken with a Sony ILCE-7RM2 camera with a Sony FE 24-105mm F4 G OSS lens at Æ’/4.0 with a 1/125-second exposure at ISO 100. The processing was done with Adobe Lightroom CC.

A series on semi-candid portraits taken at Pirate Festival in las Vegas this Spring. I'm fascinated by Steampunk. I loved reading Jules Verne as a pre teenager, and am also a huge fan of Bill Gibson's work, cyberpunk and steampunk. I love the ingenuity of finding different ways to solve modern technical challenges, whether it is steampunk, or Harry Harrison's West of Eden books that in many ways foreshadowed modern genetic engineering

All aboard!! More from Collabor88 and Summerfest! BLOGGED: www.vixierayna.blogspot.com/2014/07/pirate.html
It's time to give you all something else to do before the Summer ends. Here is another Pirate Challenge... This one is at the sim called Feast!
SIM: Feast
Creator/Owner: Miki Morigi
Feast is a beautiful sim covered with lush vegatation, places to explore, dance, cuddle, talk, and buy the vegitation you see around the sim... but thru the lush greeness and peaceful feeling is something odd... something strange. Above is a picture of me in one of three "isolation tanks" I happened to find while I was exploring Feast. You can click on these tubes and be "suspended" inside.
Your challenge, should you choose to accept it.... is to find these tubes, suspend yourselves and take a picture.... then post it in Flickr and to this group. Also have fun exploring Feast! :)
Captain's Log. February 14, 616.
A run-in with pirates today! Sighted off the starboard bow right after 6 bells. The Queen of Terreli engaged quickly while the three merchant ships crowded sail in an attempt to distance themselves. Although she took some heavy blows, we were pleased to see the Queen victorious over the pirate cruisers by 9 bells. She caught up with us just before dark and we resumed our course.

And, more pictures as promised! The Buccaneer's Dread is commanded by Captain Unrigged Nordau, and is one of the most avoided of all the ships that sail the Brick Seas. Captain Unrigged is also Captain Whiffo's number 1 nemesis, and both have been planning for longer than either of them can remember to hunt the other down.
Inspired by one of Blackdeathgr's MCRA results in which he used a sail on a rowboat hull (although his was still full scale-ish), and used previously in my Mystery Men build. Thanks for viewing, C&C are definitely welcome!
