Jet fuel pipeline that once carried JP-8 jet fuel, just north of the former NAS Moffett Field. As of 2015 I believe that this pipeline has been decommissioned and removed.

Pipeline 5's former 1995 KME (Now Engine 247)

A pipeline bridge built by the Occidental Oil company to carry crude oil from a deep water tanker berth on the Thames at Shellhaven, across Holehaven Creek to a refinery at the western end of Canvey Island. The refinery ran into problems with planning consents and the project was abandonned in the mid-seventies with the erstwhile Canvey refinery being demolished but everything to seaward being left in situ to presumeably fall apart by itself. This 1.5 km long and very impressive industrial eye-sore remains.

The silver line going through just about the middle is the Trans Alaska oil Pipeline on its way to Valdez from Prudo Bay.

Pipeline 6's former 1996 KME. Pipeline 6 was disbanded in January 2009. After being disbanded, Pipeline 6's KME was reassigned to Engine 46 and then went to Engine 43. It is currently serving as Engine 16 which will soon be replaced by a new 2012 KME.

Pipeline Riot playing at sammy's patio in revere beach, ma. Peter the percussionist is not present during this show but john hopkins is sitting in for him. I uploaded all 1700 images to create this stop motion video.

The pipeline runs 800 miles from the oil fields to the marine terminal in Valdez, with 420 miles above ground and 380 miles below ground; here, looking north, you see the pipeline emerging from below ground.

Shell Albian sands site, 2014.

I spotted this whilst driving past and returned for a closer look. It appears to be a fuel pipeline pumping station dating back to WW2. The surviving building is very similar to that at Poynton (see below) although in this case the rainheads are rather fancy.

Pipeline 28's 2007 ALF

There has been a lot of activity building or expanding pipelines through Michigan the past few years probably because of the explosion in fracking in places like Pennsylvania.

The construction crew had to build a caulker dam through this wetland to put the new pipe down. Notice the water pump on the right hand side. I went by here and this area had flooded with water once the pump was shut off.

those tiny specs of yellow are mammooth coal shovels that dwarf the monster trucks, the scale is unimaginable here, so is the impact...
