Poets from River Woods, Findley, Capitol View, Hillis, Samuelson, Stowe, Morris, and King Elementary went at it during the Half-Pints Poetry Slam for the coveted Golden Boom Box at Central Campus on Dec. 5.
A new little smile maker this way comes. The little faces on all the Realpuki's just make me smile. When I saw this little guy in stock at DDE I could resist no longer.

'Raškažinis', a Samogitian ale, sort of crossover of Scottish 80/- export and IPA, with more emphasis on hop bitterness. Brewed with two completely different types of local wild hops, picked in far apart regions of Lithuania - Ignalina National Park and Kintai. The Kintai hops provide a fantastic aroma and citrusy, slightly spicy, flavor.
Pulled from the first cask ale ever served at Public House No. 7, two pints rest on a table.
The cask was Loose Cannon Hop3 IPA, from Heavy Seas Brewing of Baltimore, Maryland. [7.25% abv, 65 IBUs, 3lbs of hops per barrel.] Note the creamy head —formed naturally without artificial nitrogen or added CO2— an indication of cask-conditioned real ale.
7 Corners, Virginia.
