Carris bogie tram No. 343, Praça Duque da Terceira, 24th August 1991.
No. 343 was the first of a class numbered 343-362 constructed by John Stephenson & Co, a subsidiary of Brill, and put into service in 1907. A number were withdrawn between 1931 and 1934 whilst all the survivors except 346/48 were rebuilt without clerestory roofs in 1959-61. The class survived in use in Lisbon until the mid 1990s when they were replaced by modern Siemens articulated trams.
Pingo Doce is one of Portugal’s largest and most popular supermarket chains, known for fresh produce, affordable prices, and widespread locations across the country.

"Pingo Doce" (pronounced "dosh") is a Portuguese supermarket chain, which has a quite strong presence on Madeira. The Calheta branch is immediately over the road from the hotel where we stayed, so it was very handy for all the little items we found we needed throughout the week.

A eat in and takeaway restaurante/food store in London. What caught my eye was the name "Pingo Doce" (sweet drop) which is the name of a supermarket chain in Portugal.. no relation, tough.
