A male Great Horned Owl in Pinellas County, Florida, USA taken on February 23, 2020. I've said it before but I'll say it again, this owl is both handsome and inquisitive of humans. Here, I got him throwing a few nice poses. He knows how to work a room (full of photographers, that is).

The Pinellas trail goes along an old rail bed where you can bike, walk, run, etc. It’s very wide, which is great. However at times it can get a little too crowded. The mural depicts its history, past and present.

Little plover in morning light. I'm pretty sure it's a Snowy but these winter colors are a challenge for me.
I took this Photograph of a Cormorant standing in the water of a Retention Pond along Ridgemoor Boulevard, near Brooker Creek Preserve in Pinellas County, Florida.
My Reference: The SIBLEY Guide To Birds, Second Edition, helped me identify this as an Adult non-breeding Double-crested Cormorant (Phalacocorax auritus).
