The coastline is dotted with fairly established norfolk pine trees. In another fifty years these will be really impressive.

The wet & windy winter has done a lot of damage in the forest. This was part of the entire top half of a pine tree that has recently come down...

On the hike to Sawtooth Pass we came upon this magnificent specimen of the fabled bristlecone pine.
