It was huge! And it was out by our dumpster. and it scared the crap out of me. and it was dying. just wondering what it was. a bird or cat had gotten at it...it was missing part of a pincer and a leg or two.
Not sure what filter this was. Colour distribution is similar to what Matt Weaver was doing with the over exposed digital 'enhancement' on the original Pincer website.
DeClare decided to split his forces and approach his foe from two directions. That fell apart when his second pincer group was late to the party, leaving the Irish to eat them both in bite-sized pieces.
The other mistake is he fell for the classic Irish manever - a bunch of lackluster soldiers, lazing about in a field, apparently easy targets. DeClare charged, the soldiers beat feet into a nearby woods... where the real army lay in wait. DeClare and most of his men died. The Irish went over to Bunratty and burned it out. Not just the towerhouse - the whole town.
