Noctilucent Clouds or night shining clouds are clouds that reflect the light of the sun that has already set behind the horizon. The night clouds are made up of particles with ice around the small dust particles.
Noctilucent Clouds usually occur at an altitude of more than 80 kilometers, meaning they are located higher than any other clouds visible in the sky.
This photo was taken two and a half hours after sunset.
Valaiseviksi yöpilviksi kutsutaan pilviä, jotka heijastavat jo horisontin taakse laskeneen auringon valoa. Yöpilvet muodostuvat hiukkasista, joissa pienten pölyhiukkasten ympärille on härmistynyt jäätä.
Valaisevat yöpilvet esiintyvät yleensä runsaan 80 kilometrin korkeudessa, eli ne sijaitsevat korkeammalla kuin mitkään muut taivaalla näkyvät pilvet.
Tämä kuva on otettu kaksi ja puoli tuntia auringonlaskun jälkeen.
The sun just shone appropriately from the crevices of the clouds, illuminating the autumn-colored trees and shrubs. The rain clouds were already hanging on the horizon and after while it was already raining. The picture was taken in Vantaa rapids in mid-October 2021 (DSC02922-2).
This rusty chain became appropriately visible after the seawater dropped. Captured after sunset in Lauttasaari, Helsinki (DSC01958-2).
