"True stability results when presumed order and presumed disorder are balanced. A truly stable system expects the unexpected, is prepared to be disrupted, waits to be transformed.”

From the crypt of the church in Dalby (Holy cross priory, it was once part of a monastery, or Heligkorskyrkan in Swedish and Helligkorskirken in Danish - when the church was founded in the 11th century this part of Sweden was Danish), just outside of Lund. The church is one of the oldest stone churches in the whole of the Nordic countries, but has been rebuilt later - and it was severely damaged during the wars between Sweden and Denmark in the 17th century and half a century later parts of the church actually collapsed. When it was later rebuilt, the church was actually shortened which gives the building rather weird proportions... Still a beautiful place, though!
