- One of the antique items my wife loved very much.
- Antique (19th century) mother of pearl egg shaped snuff or pill box with an attached lid.
It has lovely brass or bronze fittings, two tiny handles for the closure and opening, and has a nice shell patina.
The box is 5 cm wide.

that holds 24 pills. The bottle is 2 inches tall.

I haven't managed to get out much over the holiday period but did manage a winter sunset at Clevedon Pill last week. The setting sun broke through for a short time to give a lovely glow to the scene.

Silversands Beach at Lossiemouth Moray. A fitting yet ironic title when this serene scene includes wartime relics, with a row of tank traps and a pill box on the right hand of the shot all of which are being withered away by nature. A nice view of Covesea Skerries lighthouse with an almost tangerine sky.
