The Old Town in Lublin is extremely beautiful and unique because it did not suffer during the Second World War. Buildings that were created over many decades have survived in an unchanged state, reflecting the atmosphere of past times.
The Lublin Old Market is a central part of the Old Town, it does not have a regular shape. It resembles a trapeze with dimensions: 62 x 72 m. The delineation of the Old Town Market Square is connected with the time when to Lublin granted Magdeburg law by Władysław Łokietek in 1317. Originally, the przyrynkowa buildings were wooden or wooden on the foundation. It was not until the second decade of the 16th century that masonry houses were mentioned.
The developing city has become an important judicial center, through the creation of the Crown Tribunal in Lublin in 1578. A characteristic feature of the city's landscape are beautiful fountains with crystal clear water from the Alps, which can be found on almost every corner of the street. There are probably over 100 of them. The most famous of them is the Ogre's Fountain, decorated with a scene of a giant devouring small children.

Biserica Stavropoleos was built in 1724 as a chapel for the nearby inn. It was founded by the Greek monk Joanikide. Around the building was placed in a blind arcades frescoes depicting saints. The antechamber has beautiful columns and Moorish arches. Inside is a beautiful courtyard of the today's monastery . Many residents consider it the most beautiful church in Bucharest.

Naokoło budowli w ślepych arkadach umieszczono freski przedstawiające świętych. Przedsionek posiada piękne kolumny oraz mauretańskie arkady. Wewnątrz znajduje się piękny dziedziniec dzisiejszego klasztoru. Wielu mieszkańców uważa ją za najpiękniejszą cerkiew Bukaresztu.

Due to personal circumstances I haven't been able to upload anything here for a long time while I still took a lot of pictures. From now on I will regularly share and write something here. Zakopane is one of the nicest places in Europe. Really everywhere you look you see the impressive Tatra mountains. These mountains with eternal snow are part of the Carpathians and form the natural border between Poland and Slovakia. In the area you can walk for hours in the woods and there are hiking trails for both beginners and advanced hikers. There is much to do in Zakopane, such as visiting an inverted house, relaxing in spas and saunas or taking a cable car ride to the highest mountain in Poland. The prices of food products converted from złoty to euros are very favorable and the people in Zakopane and the surrounding area are very friendly and helpful. They are also very tolerant and I have noticed that it really doesn't matter to them what skin color or height you have. Everyone is equal and accepted and that mentality really appeals to me. They were also very interested in my native India and the great work of President Modi, and I was surprised that many people in Zakopane already believed years ago that the rise of India as the future number 1 world power was unstoppable, while many in the Netherlands have laughed a bit for years when they heard where I had been born and I told them about these things.This year India's economy has overtaken that of the old settler England and it is expected to become the world's 3rd largest economy by 2030. And given statistics and predictions from leading economists, the number 1 position is soon in sight. Many Polish companies have even agreed this year to start trading with rupees instead of the US dollar, but this aside. In the picturesque village of Zakopane there are beautiful mostly wooden villas where luxurious rooms are rented including private bathrooms for very reasonable prices. The atmosphere of these holiday homes reminds you of the mountain villages in Switzerland and Austria, but with a typical Polish vibe. Converted from zloty to euros you can even find accommodations for 15 euros to 25 euros a night.For the same quality hotel rooms you pay 80 to 150 euros a night in the Netherlands, even with fewer facilities. Despite the inflation there, it is still very pleasant for people who are used to the euro to buy food in Poland. Poor Dutch people will even feel rich here for a while.

Zakopane to jedno z najładniejszych miejsc w Europie. Naprawdę, gdziekolwiek nie spojrzysz, widzisz imponujące Tatry. Te pokryte wiecznym śniegiem góry są częścią Karpat i tworzą naturalną granicę między Polską a Słowacją. W okolicy można spacerować godzinami po lesie, a są tu szlaki turystyczne zarówno dla początkujących, jak i zaawansowanych piechurów. W Zakopanem jest wiele do zrobienia, na przykład zwiedzanie odwróconego domu, relaks w spa i saunach lub przejażdżka kolejką linową na najwyższą górę w Polsce. Ceny artykułów spożywczych przeliczane ze złotych na euro są bardzo korzystne, a mieszkańcy Zakopanego i okolic są bardzo przyjaźni i pomocni. Są też bardzo tolerancyjni i zauważyłem, że tak naprawdę nie ma dla nich znaczenia, jaki masz kolor skóry czy wzrost. Wszyscy są równi i akceptowani i ta mentalność naprawdę mi odpowiada. Byli również bardzo zainteresowani moimi rodzimymi Indiami i wielkim dziełem Prezydenta Modiego, i byłem zaskoczony, że wiele osób w Zakopanem wierzyło już wiele lat temu, że wzrost znaczenia Indii jako przyszłej potęgi światowej numer 1 jest nie do powstrzymania, podczas gdy wielu w Holandii trochę się śmiali przez lata, kiedy dowiedzieli się, gdzie się urodziłem, i opowiedziałem im o tych rzeczach. W tym roku gospodarka Indii wyprzedziła gospodarkę starej osadniczej Anglii i oczekuje się, że do 2030 r. staną się one trzecią co do wielkości gospodarką świata. statystyki i przewidywania czołowych ekonomistów, pozycja numer 1 jest już w zasięgu wzroku. Wiele polskich firm zgodziło się nawet w tym roku na rozpoczęcie handlu rupiami zamiast dolara amerykańskiego, ale to na marginesie. W przeliczeniu ze złotych na euro można znaleźć nawet noclegi za 15 do 25 euro za noc. Za pokoje hotelowe o tej samej jakości płaci się w Holandii od 80 do 150 euro za noc, nawet przy mniejszej liczbie udogodnień. Pomimo panującej tam inflacji, ludziom przyzwyczajonym do euro nadal bardzo przyjemnie jest kupować żywność w Polsce. Biedni Holendrzy poczują się tu nawet przez chwilę bogaci.

Door persoonlijke omstandigheden en een moeilijke tijd heb ik een tijd lang niets kunnen uploaden hier, maar ik ben terug van weggeweest en zal weer regelmatig iets uploaden hier. Zakopane is een van de mooiste plaatsen in Europa. Werkelijk overal waar je kijkt zie je het indrukwekkende Tatra gebergte. Deze bergen met eeuwige sneeuw maken deel uit van de Karpaten en vormen de natuurlijke grens tussen Polen en Slowakije. In de omgeving kun je uren wandelen in de bossen en er zijn wandelroutes voor zowel beginners als gevorderden. Er is veel te doen in Zakopane, zoals een bezoek aan een omgekeerd huis, wandelen door de gezellige winkelstraat, ontspannen in spa's en sauna's of een kabelbaanrit maken naar de hoogste berg van Polen. De prijzen van voedingsmiddelen omgerekend van złoty naar euro's zijn zeer gunstig en de mensen in Zakopane en omgeving zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze zijn ook erg tolerant en ik heb gemerkt dat het voor hen eigenlijk niet uitmaakt welke huidskleur of lengte je hebt. Iedereen is gelijk en wordt gerespecteerd. Die mentaliteit spreekt mij enorm aan. Ze waren ook erg geïnteresseerd in mijn geboorteland India en waren op de hoogte van het geweldige werk van president Modi. Ik was dan ook aangenaam verrast dat veel mensen in Zakopane jaren geleden al geloofden dat de opkomst van India als de toekomstige nummer 1 wereldmacht niet te stoppen was, terwijl velen in Nederland jarenlang lacherig hadden gedaan als ik dat vertelde, want in hun hoofd bleef het altijd een ontwikkelingsland. Dit jaar heeft de Indiase economie die van de oude kolonist Engeland ingehaald en zal naar verwachting in 2030 de op twee na grootste economie ter wereld worden. Volgens vooraanstaande economen in heel de wereld is de nummer 1-positie daarna snel in zicht. Veel Poolse bedrijven hebben dit jaar zelfs afgesproken om te gaan handelen met roepies in plaats van met de Amerikaanse dollar, maar dit terzijde. In het pittoreske dorpje Zakopane staan prachtige veelal houten villa's waar voor zeer schappelijke prijzen luxe kamers inclusief eigen badkamer worden verhuurd. De sfeer van deze vakantiehuizen doet denken aan de bergdorpen in Zwitserland en Oostenrijk, maar dan met een typisch Poolse sfeer. Omgerekend van zloty naar euro's vind je zelfs accommodaties voor 15 euro tot 25 euro per nacht. Voor dezelfde kwaliteit hotelkamers betaal je in Nederland 80 tot 150 euro per nacht, ook met minder voorzieningen. Ondanks de inflatie daar is het voor mensen die de euro gewend zijn toch erg prettig om levensmiddelen te kopen in Polen. Arme Nederlanders zullen zich hier zelfs even rijk voelen.

The Dolomite Mountains (the Dolomites) are a mountain range in northeastern Italy, part of the Southern Limestone Alps. They are in the regions of Veneto, Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol and Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The Dolomites are mostly made up of exposed rocks – limestones and dolomites and partly – rhyolites. These mountains are characterized by very picturesque terrain caused by their erosion and they are considered one of the most attractive mountain landscapes in the world. A large number of jagged ridges, peaks and rock towers, very steep slopes, cliffs and large vertical rock walls of several hundred meters, deep valleys and karst phenomena create a spectacular landscape. On 26 June 2009, the Dolomites were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Schodzimy już ze szlaku do skał Cinque Torri, ale wokół wciąż mamy piękne widoki na góry :)
Dolomity – pasmo górskie w północno-wschodnich Włoszech, część Alp Wschodnich, leżące w regionach Trydent-Górna Adyga i Wenecja Euganejska. Dolomity w dużej części składają się z odkrytych skał – wapieni i dolomitów oraz częściowo – riolitów. Góry te charakteryzują się bardzo malowniczą rzeźbą terenu spowodowaną ich erozją i uważane są za jeden z najatrakcyjniejszych krajobrazowo obszarów górskich na świecie. Duża liczba poszarpanych grani, turni i baszt skalnych, bardzo stromych stoków, urwisk oraz wielkich kilkusetmetrowych pionowych ścian skalnych, głębokich dolin i zjawisk krasowych tworzy spektakularny krajobraz. W 2009 roku Dolomity wpisano na listę światowego dziedzictwa UNESCO.

This is already my last photo from Plitvice Lakes National Park. It's really beautiful place :)
Plitvice Lakes National Park is one of the oldest and largest national parks in Croatia. Founded in 1949 and is in the mountainous karst area of central Croatia, at the border to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The national park is world-famous for its lakes arranged in cascades. Sixteen lakes can be seen from the surface. They are grouped into the 12 Upper Lakes (Gornja jezera) and the four Lower Lakes (Donja jezera). These lakes are a result of the confluence of several small rivers and subterranean karst rivers. The Plitvica Stream, flowing into the area of the lowest of the lakes, falls deep into the valley with a 78 m high Great Waterfall. It is the largest waterfall in Croatia. The lakes are renowned for their distinctive colors, ranging from azure to green, grey or blue. The colors change constantly depending on the quantity of minerals or organisms in the water and the angle of sunlight. In 1979, Plitvice Lakes National Park was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list, due to its outstanding and picturesque series of tufa lakes, caves, connected by waterfalls.

Park Narodowy Jezior Plitwickich – park narodowy w Chorwacji, położony w środkowej części kraju, założony w 1949 roku. Jego największą atrakcją jest 16 jezior krasowych połączonych ze sobą licznymi wodospadami, znanych jako Jeziora Plitwickie. Jeziora dzielą się na dwa zespoły połączone kaskadowo – Górne i Dolne Jeziora. Jeziora oddzielone są od siebie trawertynowymi groblami, na których tworzą się wodospady, których naliczono tutaj ponad 90. Potok Plitvica, dopływający po powierzchni otaczającej Plitwickie Jeziora wierzchowiny w rejon najniższego z jezior, spada w głąb doliny wysokim na 78 m Wielkim Wodospadem. Jest to największy wodospad Chorwacji. Jeziora słyną z charakterystycznych kolorów, od lazurowego po zielony, szary lub niebieski. Kolory zmieniają się w sposób ciągły w zależności od ilości minerałów lub organizmów w wodzie oraz kąta padania promieni słonecznych. Pierwszy rezerwat na tym terenie został założony w roku 1928. Park narodowy natomiast rozpoczął swą działalność w kwietniu 1949 r. W 1979 Park Narodowy Jezior Plitwickich znalazł się na liście Światowego Dziedzictwa Kulturalnego i Przyrodniczego UNESCO.

Wood violet, sweet violet, common violet or garden violet (Viola odorata) is a species of flowering plant in the viola family, native to Europe and Asia. It has been introduced into North America and Australia. It blooms from March to April. The species can be found near the edges of forests or in clearings; it is also a common "uninvited guest" in shaded lawns or elsewhere in gardens. In herbal medicine violets has been used for a variety of respiratory ailments, insomnia and skin disorders. Flowers are also edible and used as food additives for instance in salad, made into jelly, and candied for decoration. The sweet scent of this flower has popular, particularly in the late Victorian period, so this plant has been used in the production of many cosmetic fragrances and perfumes.

Fiołek wonny, fiołek pachnący (Viola odorata) – gatunek rośliny należący do rodziny fiołkowatych. Występuje w stanie dzikim w Europie, w zachodniej Azji i północnej Afryce. W Polsce pospolity na niżu i w niższych położeniach górskich. Uprawiany i często dziczejący. Kwitnie od marca do kwietnia. Zasiedla widne lasy liściaste i ich skraje, zarośla, trawiaste polany, trawniki. Rośnie na stanowiskach półcienistych lub cienistych, na glebie próchniczej, lekko wilgotnej. Jest rośliną leczniczą. Działa wykrztuśnie, napotnie, moczopędnie, odkażająco, żółciopędnie i rozkurczowo. Upłynnia zalegający śluz w drogach oddechowych. Kwiaty fiołka dawniej kandyzowano, produkowano z nich syrop na kaszel oraz używano ich do aromatyzowania octu. Uprawiany jako roślina ozdobna ze względu na swój bardzo przyjemny zapach oraz piękne kwiaty.
