Con el paso de los tiempos
la panza mollar de la tierra
reblandecida por la lluvia .
¡ se la llevan los vientos !
Nos deja estos esperpentos ,
que a veces, son de roca
y las más, de compacta arenisca
por donde brotan rebeldes .
Las plantas buscando al sol
en tierra dura, que el tiempo
sin compasión, madura
en los ariscos roquedales .
Please remove the superfluous middle cherub sculpture from the Angel of the Waters fountain and bring her down to earth to commune with the people and minister to us! She is too high up there to look in the eye. Sincerely, Alexandra Jones
Passed by this fence line by the golf course for years and in the last year I wanted to stop and take a shot and I wanted it in B&W. You know how you just know a picture is suppose to in B&W well this is one for me. It would not have the same feeling in color.

The joy of retirement is sitting in the early morning sunshine, with a good book and a coffee, listening to the birds sing!

" Thomas stood under the mid afternoon sun in the massive northern jungle that covered most of Torith's Northern shore. The pirates were late, but then again that was to be expected. Soon he would have to leave or risk a stroke but when all seemed lost a small band of armed men approached him. Trying not to look upset Thomas smiled and approached the group of men.
"I'm glad you could make it" Thomas announced as he reached out to shake the lead pirates hand.
"Aye, the captain sends is regards, an he's appy ter do bizzness wid ya again." The Pirate replied, completely ignoring Thomas's hand.
"Good, you will be paid a wealthy amount for your assistance in the protection of Loressi waters."
"As long ya provide us wid plenty of vittles and weppins we'll be appy to werk wid ya." The Pirate handed Thomas a parched piece of paper and stepped back patiently waiting for an answer.
Thomas glanced at the paper where a list had been written in black ink, once again Thomas was the errand boy...."

The Church of Christ the Cornerstone, in Milton Keynes, was the first ecumenical city centre church in the United Kingdom. It brings together the Church of England, the Baptist Union, the Methodist Church, the Roman Catholic Church and the United Reformed Church in partnership.
The church is 101 feet high (to the top of the lantern) and the cross rises a further 18 feet. It is supposed to be the tallest structure in MK, (to the top of the cross,) and has been so for the last 50 years.
I don't really know which lake this is as this whole area looks like cottage cheese on a map as one lake flows into another.
Freezing temperatures on the ground and warmer air aloft make for an ice storm. The rain freezes to the cold objects on the ground. Trees and shrubs and everything else become incrusted in ice. HSS.
