Macro Monday Pik Tow
" 4,5 x 2,5 cm 1,77 x 0,98 inch"
In meinem Bad steht eine kleine Glasflasche mit einem gewellten Rand und einem gedrehten Glasstöpsel. Wie so viele kleine Dinge, die meinem Haushalt anzufinden sind, hübsch anzusehen und völlig nutzlos, eine Dekoration die mich immer wieder erfreut!
Ich wünsche Euch eine gute Woche und bedanke mich für Euren besuch, liebe Freunde!
In my bathroom is a small glass bottle with a wavy edge and a twisted glass stopper. Like so many little things that are to be found in my household, pretty to look at and completely useless, a decoration that always pleases me!

Dans ma salle de bain se trouve une petite bouteille en verre à bord ondulé et un bouchon en verre torsadé. Comme tant de petites choses que je trouve dans ma maison, jolies à regarder et complètement inutiles, une décoration qui me plait toujours!

En mi baño hay una pequeña botella de vidrio con un borde ondulado y un tapón de vidrio retorcido. Como tantas cosas pequeñas que se encuentran en mi hogar, bonitas a la vista y completamente inútiles, ¡una decoración que siempre me agrada!

Nel mio bagno c'è una piccola bottiglia di vetro con un bordo ondulato e un tappo di vetro contorto. Come tante piccole cose che si possono trovare nella mia casa, belle da guardare e completamente inutili, una decorazione che mi fa sempre piacere!

In mijn badkamer is een kleine glazen fles met een golvende rand en een gedraaide glazen stop. Zoals zoveel kleine dingen die in mijn huishouden te vinden zijn, mooi om naar te kijken en volkomen nutteloos, een decoratie die me altijd bevalt!

We travelled past a field of poppies on the way back home from Wells-next-the-Sea. This was the ‘real deal’, a field with a distinct red haze, as the poppies basked together in the sunshine. We stopped the car and I walked up the field, on the footpath, taking photographs as I went. Here’s a bit of a poppy, heading for Macro Mondays tomorrow. Taken with the lens on macro, then cropped to highlight colour and light.

Blue Flower HMM
Blue Cornflower
Cornflower blue is a shade of medium-to-light blue containing relatively little green compared to blue. This hue was one of the favorites of the Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer. The most valuable blue sapphires are called cornflower blue, having a medium-dark violet-blue tone.

A piece of granite that has been well weathered shows the details of the stone with the help of a little side lighting. An alternative title to this could be Stone Dome

For Macro Mondays theme 'Pick Two' (pink flower).
I have a pink lupin in a pot, so it could be moved to a location that provided a nice background bokeh. The snail was harder to organise - ever since starting my Gastropod Relocation Programme, snails are much more difficult to find, it took me three days of searching to find this tiny juvenile - the shell was approximately 1 cm across.
No snails were harmed in the making of this photograph.

This small hand-crafted ceramic bowl measuring 2.25" wide, was created by artist Acoma D. Reano in 2001. I purchased it during one of my visits to the American Southwest. HMM, everyone ! !

The hollyhock started to bloom yesterday with these pink flowers, how beautiful is the inside of them !
The pollen create lovely bokeh.
This is a little over 2 inch wide.
