I picked "Fuzzy - Toy" ... I know, I know, you knew I would. I also left some fuzzy cat hair on there for effect ... too much?
Slightly painted shot of a fuzzy Flamingo cat toy just 'cause I can't help myself ...
Happy MACRO MONDAYS! I reciprocate all comments and thanks!
I was hoping to achieve iridescent effects with the lighting, but failed. Instead, I went in closer to highlight all the wear and tear on this marble. Managed to get the side light to hit slightly from behind to achieve the look. So to fulfil the Macro Monday brief, it is a 'damaged toy', or 'damaged glass'.
Sidelit with two spots, tripod mounted, remote shutter, 20mm extension tube, F5.6 with the standard 18-55mm Nikon lens. All other info should be in the metadata. No post processing, this is how it came out of the camera.

head view of a woodlouse, curved insect for Macro Monday. Courtesy of my cat, who likes killing them and for once didn't eat this one. Could also fit the pick two rules with jagged or delicate perhaps instead of curved?
Shot with tripod, remote trigger and ringlight from above and daylight from the side. Cropped in Digikam and cleaned some muck in the background from my lens in Gimp.

Seashell and sisal sponge angle view flashed with UV Torch. Used Nikor telephoto and macro lenses, manual focus.
Walking though the backyard I found a small branch on the ground that had fallen as the result of a windy evening. While the branch itself was "dead", rotted and fragile, the outside was covered in life. There were many different forms of lichen, micro-lichen, moss, algae and fungus - what I learned long ago as the "de-composers" of the forest - all on this one small foot-long piece limb.
This is a series of three different parts of that branch, 2 or 3 inches apart, but filled with different types of de-composers. While most of this 1 inch spot on the branch is covered in lichen, there appears to be a tall stalk of moss sticking upwards (it is probably 1/4 inch (6-7 mm) or so in size.
This image is the result of a 15 image stack of macro photo's taken and merged in Photo Shop. Two indoor 2700 lamps were placed on either side for lighting. Feel free to ZOOM IN on the image to see these magnificent structures up close; you may not have seen anything like this before!

My passenger side mirror was no match for the side of my garage door. It must have been closer than it appeared because I just watched it happen in the mirror. Haha. HMM! I’ll be spending mine getting my mirror repaired. At least it provided subject matter for this week’s theme.
#MacroMondays #PickTwo ... a possibility.
This may be the prettiest subject of the eight or so possibilities for the theme for today, 6/14. I’ll probably put them all up and then dither

For this weeks theme I have picked damaged candy - this is a broken lolly which is about 1cm in diameter, its so damaged I might just have to eat it.
Anyway the lighting was provided by an old filament torch hope you enjoy - HMM
A Corgi Cooper-Maserati. As a kid this was one of my favourite toys.
It never worried me that the windscreen was broken on the left hand side. As I've grown older, I've become more obsessive about these kinds of damages.
Damaged (meniscus) glass lens of a Kodak Baby Brownie camera .
(for “Macro Mondays” - theme : “Pick Two”)
River monster or hologram plate. You decide. There's another version on my photostream. Which do you prefer?
Macro Monday: pick two (yellow flower)
A flower that is very popular with insects. The flower is less than an inch across. Thank you in advance for your views, faves, and comments.

From my backyard. The flowers start blooming at the bottom of the bloom stalk and work their way up. These are the last. This was the first:

Three shots taken at different focus points, then merged in Affinity Photo for iPad. Opening up the aperture brought too much of the background into focus, so by keeping the aperture fairly wide, but doing the focus merge, got the flowers in focus but kept the background out of focus.

A fuzzy toy.
Daniel is a hand-puppet from the Mr. Rogers show.
My mother used to delight in bringing this small hand puppet to "life" when I was a small boy. She died almost two decades ago but this guy still sits on top of the bookshelf in my home office.
Photo is approximately 2.5" edge-to-edge.
Ma ramette de papier bleu est à peine entamée et l'occasion est trop belle pour ne pas s'en servir pour proposer une photo macro avec une feuille découpée en lamelles. #Macro #MacroMondays #PickTwo #BluePaper
