Hands of the musician while playing the piano.
The photo was taken at the international music exhibition NAMM in Sokolniki. Moscow. Russia
On a sunny Saturday in November, I was straying around Viktualienmarkt in Munich. A light breeze brought dreamy piano melodies to my ears. Following the music, I quickly found a big crowd gathering around a man and his piano.
The man on the piano was Ralph Kiefer, he enchanted the audience with his wonderful music.
One of his songs he played was the dreamy "Imaginarium":

in Big Apple, he was playing for a long moment as he took a break, and quickly walk in his own mind... I couldn't guess what he was thinking about, but he still there...

WIT: Sometimes it is hard to play some pieces, and an extra big stretch is needed. I used a wide angle lens to make the hand look much bigger than it is, compared to my head. Cropped in post and got rid of the lamp behind my head, adjusted the colour and increased the light in the reflection.
It was Hania Rani, the Polish pianist (she's pretty good) who left her piano here. Apparently it is private land and the farmer wanted it left there.....
But the video they made is superb. Watch it here www.youtube.com/watch?v=bB34_eLCLKo&list=RDvFZ8NxzaM7...
and she plays so mesmerisingly in this www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0yRNQj2_tc&list=RDl0yRNQj2_t...

Jorge Luis Pacheco, currently based in Germany, is one of the leading pianists of the new generation of jazz in Cuba. He is also a percussionist, composer and musical director. He studied piano and percussion at the music school Alejandro García Caturla, later graduated as a percussionist in the conservatory Amadeo Roldán, and worked as a professor at the conservatory Guillermo Thomas. He has participated in concerts and festivals in Cuba, Europe, South and Central America, Canada and the USA. He shared stage with 3 other world class pianists in the wonderful Teatro Marti (1884). I very happy to see him on the program 'El Arte del Piano Cubano' in Havana with Dayramir Gonzalez (Cuba/USA), Emmet Cohen (USA) and Manon Mullener (Switzerland).
