Not much of an update, just a bit more of the front plating and testing top engine fit. NOT sturdy at the moment, should be once I have some more mixel sockets.

E.D. Abbott of Farnham, Surrey were established in 1929 making custom car bodywork for some famous brands prior to WW2. They are perhaps remembered more for their estate conversions on Ford models mainly in the 1950's and early 1960's. The business closed in 1972.
This is the only Ford Consul MkI Farnham Estate that I have ever seen. The colour is Bristol Fawn.

Wanted on all 8 continents of Trias-α, and allowed to be legally cannibalized on 3 of those. This criminal mastermind scours the skies on his blood-red RAIL-propulsion F22BC-Raptor, picking off random flying vehicles, creatures and objects and plundering anything that he comes across.
He is also known to immediately devour anyone who calls him 'a lizard' (which accumulates to 71 completely digested individuals so far).
Brickshelf (When public) (Contains some nifty stuff, worth checking out)

I was reading through the archives of the twee affect a while ago and came across this post, in which they predicted that these raptor/lizard/buggers were "going to be the new frogspace/trolls/etc." To my knowledge, that never happened. I did really like the idea though, so I built this. So yeah, this one's for you, twee affect guys (and to that your prediction/prophecy may come true after all)!
I had a second raptor-speeder planned, but after I got thoroughly fed up with the building and photographing of this one (damn you red!), I opted to focus on something else instead.

One of the nice things about going down to the West Country by coach was there was usually a decent enough break at Bristol and Marlborough Street Bus Station was situated in such a way that there were a number of good spots to take photographs nearby. Red yellow and blue together were popular colours employed on a number of former NBC fleet including the Bristol City Line fleet where it's brightening effect was almost 'springlike' compared to that drab old leaf-green and white. A Muller Road VR pick up a good load on it's way to Henbury.
