Colorful yarn -- Pasadena, California

Day 219 of my 366 Project

On vacation at a forest bungalow and been raining all day. Took my camera out to take shots of the water drops. Edited on the go using Photoshop Express and Lightroom apps on my mobile.

Carpet pattern on our 2015 road trip. Find Margan!

A similar image was posted about a year ago but with a different filter. This is an angel trumpet flower that was shot using my macro lens. I cropped the image, changed it to black and white then added this filter, from Photoshop Express. Still waiting on my first roll of black and white images! Have a wonderful weekend!

Day 321 of my 366 Project

I'm afraid I wasn't able to get any holiday related shots this year. So I decided to at least post something that has the COLOR of Christmas, with a title that is somewhat in the spirit of the modern day...CONSUMERISM!!! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday, no matter how you celebrate.

I snapped this recently on one of my cloud chasing adventures. I managed to get some shots just before the skies opened up on me. I was actually shooting upward as the raindrops began hitting my face. Fun!!

Day 272 of my 366 Project

Started in Hipstamatic (Jane lens, Apollo flash, Liberty film) and then made two versions in Photoshop Express - pop red and pop orange. Combined those two as a double exposure in Snapseed and made some selective edits to that.

With all the El Nino rains we have had this winter many trees are covered in beautiful lush green moss and bright yellow lichen. The redwood trees are even more stunning than usual this time of year.

This was snapped about a month go. There is a house in Sebastopol that has the most beautiful tree lined driveway, surrounded by vineyards. Each fall these fabulous trees and the vineyards put on quite a colorful show. A couple of weeks after this was shot, all the leaves turned a gorgeous bright red. About 10 days ago most of the leaves had fallen. The past several years the drought has caused the leaves to be less than vibrant. But with the rains we have had, our fall colors are once again pretty spectacular. While most of the country is long past their peak season, most of our trees are just now peaking.

Blue hydrangeas are supposed to symbolize rejection, coldness and frigidity. They really just need an autumn color boost to be hot and sexy!

Happy Sliders Sunday!

Day 209 of my 366 Project
