I almost thought I had died and gone to heaven when I saw this shot. It was just everything you dream of for landscape photography. I was super exited to get this shot in my bag. It will be printed and on my wall. Vlog below..

Last sunday the Flickr bende (www.flickr.com/photos/djhjbr/, www.flickr.com/photos/hans_verduin/, www.flickr.com/photos/brammeijer/, www.flickr.com/photos/90175010@N02/, www.flickr.com/photos/teun_van_dijk/, www.flickr.com/photos/25228175@N08/ en yours truly visited the Hilversum city-hall (designed in 1922 by the Dutch architect Dudok) for a lines and square photogasm (sorry www.flickr.com/photos/gavgristle/ for using your lines).

What great building to roam around and what a nice get-together with my Flickr-friends it was. Visit their stream for more lines, corners, squares and rectangles.

For now, from me:

Enjoy!

I just absolutely loved this eventing, even though the pink sky never kicked off!! The way these rocks in the foreground mimic the sea stacks in the back ground along with the reflections in the water mixed with the warm light and sunstar!!! I was in full photogasm!!! Kris.....

This shot was the highlight of my walk along the river Hoegne, standing with my boots (Wellies?) in the water taking this picture I got a photogasm :D

As I mentioned in my earlier edit of this same sunset - you don't get light like this very often.

There's nothing quite like that feeling of just KNOWING, simple KNOWING you've got a shot.

All of the photogs around me were having full blown public photogasms.

I tried to act like a pro and pretend it wasn't a big deal but my air punches and ''holy sh*itsnacks'' gave the game away.

Everything was great until the other photogs decided to light cancer sticks. You know you're in Europe when.....

I should have gone down to the lower section below the stairs of doom but I gapped out and forgot all about it.

I was getting hungry and there was a slice of pizza with my name on it ;)

If you'd like to come shooting with me in this very spot, check out my latest tour www.fototripper.com/store/faroe-islands-photography-works...

Thanks for looking

I'm not sure if it's the clouds, or the almost-silhouetted trees -- or maybe just the dusky, yellow tones... but this one feels more like Africa than a cold, windy hill in the south east of England.

Part of a series of photos taken a few days ago.

They're all on my blog today, if you don't want to wait for the next one tomorrow...!

Um YEAH I was SOOOO excited to get the brick building in the middle.

I am a DORK who LOVES photography.

Go here to read the funny story behind my train shots.

Go ahead, I'll wait. It's worth it, I promise.

It's even more photogasmic HERE

Go on you know you wanna! ;)

I'm told this is a fairy ring (circle?) -- you can only see a small portion of it, but it extends off to the right for quite some way, forming a circle about 10 feet (3 meters) in diameter.

I think I actually prefer the moss in the bottom right corner to the actual mushrooms -- but either way, it's a lovely bit of green nature!

I just listed this one on Etsy, if you feel the need to have it on your wall.

went to london for spring break with my school! it was amazing. i went on the eye and i had what my friends call a photogasm ahaha i took like 34348739 pictures up there.

Since you can not swing a dead cat and not hit some photographer down by the cherry trees this year, I thought I'd join 'em. I'm rather happy no one hit me with a dead cat.

Pretty trees but too damn many tripods in the middle of the afternoon.

I sound like Eeyore

And furthermore, single drinking fountains are not benson bubblers afterall. "Benson Bubblers are Portland's iconic drinking fountains. The city currently boasts 52 of the fountains and

74 one-bowl variations. Though the single-bowl variations look like Benson Bubblers, they are not. In fact, in the 1970's, the Benson family asked that the installation of the four-bowl fountains be limited to certain downtown boundaries so as not to diminish the uniqueness of them"

The early morning light and atmospherics were excellent for capturing this photogasm, when on my usual walk track.

Alternate title: And God Created Woman

Though probably a bit taller than most women... she's about 5'11" (180cm).

Probably the less I say about this one the better.

Part of Tuesday's Photogasm, which this week was a bunch of theatre/live performance/dancing photos.

First ever attempt at photography under UV lighting!

Plays real tricks with the digital camera sensor, urgh!

This isn't totally sharp, probably because light metering is a bit wacky with UV -- but I love it all the same.

He's black by the way; it's not just a case of bad white (hah) balance or lighting.

This is part of my 'Tuesday Photogasm', over on the blog. More photos of pretty girls and boys over there -- and larger versions, too.

My sister's Vespa that she bought a few years ago... and has never ridden.

I think it's actually from the 70s -- a proper, old-school Vespa. The front is a blood-cherry red.

But I liked the rain droplets in black and white.

Part of Tuesday's rainy photogasm, over on the blog.

This is my favourite of the South Downs set from the weekend.

I'm not sure if it's the clouds running from the foreground into the distance (and then into the cool 'snake' of clouds in the middle), or if it's the golden grass that does it for me.

Probably both.

I love how the sun 'builds up' behind the clouds in the middle too. Orange one side, blue on the other.

Just got a hair cut. I'm in love with the asymmetrical bangs. :D

Also shot these as raw images and had a photogasm when I actually sat down and figured out how much fixing-up you can do when they're .NEFs. I've been cheating myself all these years. Good god.

And I had every intent to post this privately, but F that - I want everyone to know that I love my face. I'm allowed a vanity moment every now and again.

Caw!

CAW!

Got lucky with my 300mm last night, just before the sun settled below the horizon.
