Photo Description
Version 2 in the Lake Serene moored boat series on style, mainly colour. 'Style' is basically the manner in which an artist (here, 'photoartist') portrays the subject matter and how the artist expresses her or his vision, through the composition, which includes colour as a key element.
To recall at Lake Serene, 'serenity' is the state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled. Lake Serene has been in this state for eons. The boat is a shared community boat for drifting around the lake to enjoy serenity in a gentle floating manner. Floating improves one's serenity by helping with mental and physical wellness through increasing one's relaxation, energy, and rejuvenation.

In the Fern Fronds series, Exhibit 2 continues the focus on photographic 'style' concerning art and nature. To recall, 'style' is basically the manner in which a "photoartist" portrays the subject matter and expresses a 'vision' through the composition, which includes colour.
In this exhibit, pink and purple and their variants have been chosen to more show of the beauty of the staghorn fern through rare colours in nature alongside the more natural colour of green (Exhibit 4) for aesthetic effect.

The staghorn fern, again, is an epiphyte or ‘air plant’ grows without soil. Instead, it lives on host trees by using a tree’s branches to anchor itself.
It does not live off its host, instead the large, shield-like frond at the front curves outward to collect water and organic matter as it falls from above, as well as protecting the plant's roots.
The shape, textures, and patterns of this frond are thus the photographic subject matter of this series, especially regarding 'style'.

Exhibit no. 4 of my Fern Fronds (photo-art) exhibition on the spectacular staghorn fern was generously selected for the 'Flickr Macro Explore' May 2021 takeover day.
The exhibit style presents a bold purple, red and yellow-orange colour mix, as well as showing the leaves that stem from the frond. As such the exhibit, in celebrating Art, Nature, and Colour, is well informed by photographic 'style' (as are all exhibits in this series).
To recall, 'style' is basically the way a photographer or ‘photoartist’ portrays the subject matter and expresses her or his vision, through the composition, which, here, stresses shape, texture, and colour.
On the latter, as the main emphasis, the staghorn fern frond is showed off in aesthetic (or beautiful) variants of green, yellow, pink and purple, and orange, as common to rare colours in nature.
In this exhibit, again, inverse colours of red, purple, and yellow-orange are introduced in moving more to the colour ‘inside’ nature).
On our subject, again, the staghorn fern, again, is an epiphyte or ‘air plant’ that grows without soil. Instead, it lives on host trees by using a tree’s branches to anchor itself.
It does not live off its host, instead the large, shield-like frond at the front curves outward to collect water and organic matter as it falls from above, as well as protecting the plant's roots, which also offers design ideas for environmental sustainability around eco-architecture perhaps.

Photo Exhibition of Flora Fauna of Theosophical Society Adyar Chennai is on display at their Library Hall. 234 neatly mounted good colour prints of bees beetles bugs moths butterflies flowers and mammals which were captured during a span of ten years by Prof.Chandrasekaran, a naturalist turned photographer. His photographs depict his passion for the nature and photo art. Both the nature lovers and budding photoartists should visit the hall.

Alexei Anatoljewitsch Nawalny war ein russischer Jurist, Dokumentarfilmer, Antikorruptions-Aktivist, Dissident, Oppositionspolitiker und Blogger. 2020 wurde ein lebensgefährlicher Giftanschlag auf ihn verübt. Politisch verfolgt und ab 2021 inhaftiert, wurde er zu langjährigen Haftstrafen verurteilt. Die russische Gefängnisverwaltung meldete, dass Nawalny am 16. Februar 2024 gestorben sei.

Ok... I confess, I was scared a a couple of times while doing this photography. But it was fun, the most part of time. The WORST part was when I realized that I was treating the photo while my monitor was set to READER MODE!!!! I turned it back to the proper settings, but THAT was not funny.

Whether the weather stays with rain or scorching sun, morning and evenings of Mylapore streets, are always with abundant source of street photography, Yesterday (05.10.2018) night I was at Mylai south mada street where I saw Golu Doll sellers and buyers were in action. If there is no rain today and tomorrow or with rain too photoartists would enjoy with their gear.
