The atrium area at the heart of the portion of the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, GA designed by Richard Meier in 1983.
I've probably walked underneath this 5-foot long grasshopper a hundred times and never noticed it lurking overhead. It was placed there by artist Wayne Chabre. A couple of blocks further there's a fly sculpture created by the same artist. The sculptures were one of his first public commissions in 1988. He created them as part of an alley beautification program for the city of Salem, Oregon.
