Long overdue!
Finished updating this guy roughly 5-6 months ago but forgot about posting it :p
Updated build of the King www.flickr.com/photos/94659235@N06/sets/72157635273657802/
A better and sturdier frame, better articulation, and scrapped the old big sword in favor of these two arm mounted swords (they can swivel to the back but the cape would block them).
Comparing this to my newer builds though, there's a lot of things I would improve on.
White Bishop, originally created for the PhLUG Mech Chess challenge, this is already the 2nd iteration of the build.

- - -
Build notes:
The bulkiest looking mech I've made to date. This was actually inspired by the HAIIRO (the missile pack is actually recycled from it). Was a huge learning experience since due to the heavy plating, the legs needed an extra mechanism (tank treads!) to spread out the upper body weight better and allow it to stand properly
Heavily inspired by VR-RAIDEN (hence the bazooka's name) and the Dom from Gundam :P
If you notice this is actually ver 1.5 since the first time I publicly posted this guy over at PhLUG's FB wall, it was only half finished :P
Our display as part of PH BRICKXhibit 2015
Definitely a learning experience for us setting up an enclosed big exhibit piece for the first time. Will surely look much better next year :D
If I missed any of the guys who contributed, feel free to add yourself on the photo or let me know.

Glad to be part of this with my LUG :) We're hosting the Philippine's first major LEGO exhibit over at Resorts World Manila.
The exhibit features mostly MOCs of our fellow members ranging from mechs, tanks, cars, urban city buildings, a medieval castle diorama, LOTR, Star Wars, superheroes, and even a mindstorms display :D
If you happen to be nearby, feel free to drop by and check out the exhibit :D
It will be until May 3 and is open to public viewing free of charge :)

The M-Tron is a peace loving nomadic civilian colony. They explore around planets and asteroids and collect valuable resources. They built the M-Tron Mega Core Command Center (MCCC) to carry their most precious cargo which is the Magnetoid. The Magnetoid is where the M-Tron colony polarizes their magnetizers that serves both for couplings for cargo and core float drives for their ships. The MCCC also houses support craft that helps the M-Tron people to explore and collect their resources.
This is a Nissan Skyline build for PHLUG's October MOCTober freestyle event. It is based on a tight 8-stud chassis design so it is very packed and a bit challenging to design with. It is supposed to be a version of Takeshi Nakazato's GT-R from the Initial D anime series; but I had so much fun modifying the parts and it turned out like this.
