Or Philosophy Path (Tetsugaku-no-Michi). This was a nice place to walk in the Higashiyama area (eastern Kyoto). Many shrines and temples branch off the path, while small stores and cherry trees line the way.

Philosopher's stone - The stone is legendary in that it changes all metals to gold, and can be used to brew a potion called the Elixir of Life that renders the drinker immortal.
