Path of Philosophy je 2km duga šetnica uz potok. Naročito je lijepa kada u proljeće procvate drvored trešanja. Uz nju je smješten čitav niz objekata i nekoliko hramova koje treba posjetiti.
There are many of these along the way. Some are more recognizably human in form, others simply appear to be pointy rocks wearing red bibs. Jizo statues always wear red bibs (and sometimes little red hats) because Jizo is the Buddhist patron deity of children, and the bibs make him appear more friendly. He is also the patron deity of travelers, so today he is watching over us too.

Philosopher's Rock is a statue outside Barton Springs in Austin, Texas, featuring Texas naturalists Roy Bedichek, Walter Prescott Webb and J. Frank Dobie. The three were said to hold court on important topics at the edge of the famous swimming hole--the U.S.'s largest natural swimming pool.

Monument for the German philosopher Johann Gottfried Herder (1744-1803) who lived in Riga for a number of years. The inscription gives the Latvian version of his name: Johans Gotfrīds Herders.
The monument is a copy of full-length statue of Herder by the Austrian sculptor Ludwig Schaller (1804-1865) that is on display in Weimar.
