Phillips Seafood started back in 1914 on a small island in the Chesapeake Bay called Hoopers Island. Phillips has been a Maryland tradition and is known for their crabs and cake cakes.

Chapel Hill, NC - November, 4, 2016 -- Ambassador Phil Phillips recognized each Phillips Ambassador scholarship winner during at an event honoring the the most recent scholarship recipients. The event was attended by UNC Chapel Hill faculty and previous scholarship winners at the home of Phil and Kim Phillips. The cocktail party honored the scholarship winners for Spring 2017. The Phillips Ambassador scholarship offers undergraduates at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill a unique opportunity to study abroad in Asia.
