With just a few days till Easter I thought it would be fun to build remakes of my Jewelled Egg Collection and add a couple of new ones too.

The Pharaoh Egg is a new addition to the collection. Leftovers from Tutankhamun turned out to be very useful! I also included red diamonds referring to the Adventurers LEGO® sets where this part first appeared.

Wychbury Obelisk stands close to the summit of Wychbury Hill in Hagley, Worcestershire on the estate of the Lyttelton's English aristocratic family (inc. musician Humphrey Lytteltonn). The Lyttelton's are Knights of the Garter with possible family links all the way to Pharaonic Egypt.

It is 84ft tall and can be seen for many miles around, as far as away as Shropshire, and the hill if not the monument on its summit from the Malverns.

The current owner of the estate is Christopher Charles Lyttelton, or 12th Viscount Cobham.

Tuthmosis II was suceeded by his wife and half sister Hatsepsut, who became a female pharaoh.

This and many of the photos in my stream lately are from my first gallery last week as the annual fundraiser for the LVCDT. The fundraiser was a success, and we earned enough money ot move into the our new space at the Holsum Lofts.

"Your a strange animal, that's what I know." Gowan

At 46–50 centimetres (18–20 in) long, the pharaoh eagle-owl is one of the smaller eagle-owl species. It is an attractive bird of prey, with striking, large orange-yellow eyes and mottled plumage. The head and upperparts are tawny and densely marked with black and creamy-white streaks and blotches, while the underparts are pale creamy-white, with black streaks on the upper breast and fine reddish-brown vermiculations on the lower breast and belly. The face has the disc-like form typical of most owls, defined by a dark rim, the robust bill is black and hooked, and the head is crowned with small ear tufts. There are two recognised subspecies of pharaoh eagle-owl, Bubo ascalaphus ascalaphus and B. a. desertorum, the latter being smaller and paler with sandier colouration.

Barnstable County Fair

My two favorite places, a Metropolitan Museum of Art interior and a Central Park exterior. Inside is the Seated Statue of Hatshepsut Ca. 1479-1458 B.C. while the Egyption obelisk outside was carved around 1450 B.C.

The obelisk commonly known as "Cleopatra's Needle" was actually created for Thutmose III who was coregent with Hatshepsut and succeeded her as pharaoh.

One of my favourite pieces in all of ancient Egyptian sculpture.

Pharaoh Guard:

As the ruthless and merciless Pharaohs of the ancient empire march to war, they are accompanied by a retinue of some of the most skilled and elite warriors of the entire legion. In order to maintain their sepulchral legions and combat enemy lords and hero’s, the Pharaohs must be able to persevere through the horde of the enemy battle lines. For this reason, the employ the deadly use of their Pharaoh Guard.

Chosen from among the ranks of the ancient empires noble elite, the Pharaoh Guard were the children of these nobles, those who were not set in the lineage to inherit the empires were sent learn the ways of combat. They guarded their Pharaoh unceasingly in life, wading through enemy lines, destroying the empire’s foes. Upon the death of their lord, the those of the Pharaoh Guard performed a ritualistic suicide and were entombed in the immaculate pyramids.

Rising now in undeath, these elite warriors have been stripped of the constraints of a mortal life, and now again reap havoc in the name of their Pharaoh. Wielding duel khopesh’s that were crafted with a pristine and deadly intent, they flow through their enemy, striking fast and precise.

Able to death massive amounts of crucial damage in a short time, these shock troops allow the legions to punch through even the most armored of foes. The Pharaoh Guard marches forth in a forebodingly silent obedience of their masters deathly will. Reaping an innumerable death toll, these skeletal elites will return the ancient empire to its former glory.

Pharaoh Lake, Adirondacks

The red eyes look unreal and the wings look plastic but this was real and it was alive in my flower garden. About the size of my thumb.

Looking for a bit of attention during dinner preparation.

The Pharaoh's masks nicely illuminates in the early morning sun.

Imagine yourself in an alternative universe.

In this universe DK made a book with a time travelling robot called Chrono who took kids on adventures whilst teaching them about history.

As we don't live in that universe I may as well post pictures of these models that I made that may have ended up in the afore mentioned book that never happened, enjoy!

Cairo/Egypt 2019 (The Pyramids of Giza, located at The Giza Plateau, near Cairo, consist of the Great Pyramid or the Pyramid of Cheops/Khufu and constructed c. 2580 – c. 2560 BC), the somewhat smaller Pyramid of Khafre/Chephren a few hundred meters to the south-west, and the relatively modest-sized Pyramid of Menkaure/Mykerinos a few hundred meters farther south-west. The Great Sphinx lies on the east side of the complex. Current consensus among Egyptologists is that the head of the Great Sphinx is that of Khafre. Along with these major monuments are a number of smaller satellite edifices, known as "queens" pyramids, causeways and valley pyramids...)

*The Great Sphinx, a limestone statue of a reclining sphinx, a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human is generally believed to represent the Pharaoh Khafre.

Cut from the bedrock, the original shape of the Sphinx has been restored with layers of blocks. It measures 73 metres long from paw to tail, 20.21 m high from the base to the top of the head and 19 metres wide at its rear haunches. It is the oldest known monumental sculpture in Egypt and is commonly believed to have been built by ancient Egyptians of the Old Kingdom during the reign of the Pharaoh Khafre (c. 2558–2532 BC)...)

"Your a strange animal, that's what I know." Gowan

This is probably the most complete overhaul I've made among the Apeirogon frames. Basically everything except the weapons and the core torso is completely different.
