I was at the local pet store the other day to send Coco and Nino for their much needed bath and spotted this handsome little guy at the storefront window.
For about US$500 you can take him with you. The pet store assistant didn't know much about this kitten's lineage and all she could tell me that he was a Himalayan/Persian mixed breed of 2 months and 2 weeks of age.
This kitten had two all white kittens as companions (not photographed) but he pretty much kept to himself.
I'm sure some well heeled customer will eventually part their money to rehome this little guy, but personally I don't like the idea of cats being traded for a tidy profit. After all there are always homeless cats in animal shelters still waiting for permanent
homes. 😐
This adorable scraggy terrier seemed to fit this scene perfectly and I couldn't resist a little post treatment.

I was attempting to get a closeup of this cute British shorthair kitten when she suddenly decided to reach out to touch me. I really love kittens and wished I had one or two to keep my Joey company. 😍🐱
Depending on how kittens are raised after birth, they can be very friendly, indifferent or plain ferocious. Feral kittens that are born in the wild tend to fear humans and hiss and spit when approached.

BTW, purchasing this magazine was the most embarrassing purchase I have ever had to make. I actually bought it at a petstore instead of a local bookstore thinking it would be less embarrassing, but it wasn't. A magazine for the purebred cat owner, sheesh.
I also had imagined cloning at least 8 cats, but upon setting up the shoot realized that my cat is fat and therefore it just would not work. And for the record, she doesn't eat that much.
Bearded dragons at the pet store. Well my laptop has officially stopped working and until I can afford to fix it I'm unable to edit any photos. This leaves me with my iPhone as my only option for taking and editing photos, if I want to continue to upload a new photo here everyday as I've done for I think two years or so now.
