Our daughter and son-in-law adopted "Courage" after he was cared for by a K9 Rescue Company. In Montana while traveling, he got lost for three weeks, and was "re-rescued" by a friend of theirs while crossing a water treatment plant stream. Their friend literally crossed a river to get "Courage." Our daughter and son were reunited with their new furry family member. Now at peace, and loving a couch and a snuggle as much as any dog, Courage has found a home in our hearts.

It's hard to explain but this shot works like an inner self portrait somehow.

She always wants to be involved when I shoot around the house, so I have to include her sometimes. I don't want to be one of those people who just posts endless cat pictures, but she's old, pretty cute, and very insistent. So here you go.
He is a lionhead but now a flathead.

A snuggly barn cat befriended me and two photography clients at the end of our shoot recently.
Boy I sure would like to be a sleepy little kitty right about now.
My baby is sick (she started arthritis recently) and I cannot pay for the meds ;) (metacam www.petmeds.fr/Prescriptions/Prescriptions-M-Q/Metacam-Si... ) So I started a "Dhyana fund" She will have to take the meds until she go the heaven. I give her 5 gr each day for a week . Then I stop and wait for a week and then start again.

Sarie has been a busy busy girl. Last weekend she went to the 6th annual Reston Pet Fiesta and Tails on Trails Dog Walk. She raised $145.00 in pledges towards GoodDogz.org. She also was in the fashion show and sported a cute little pink backpack.
I didn't realize that there was a costume contest as well until after we arrived. Since Sarie is always well dressed I decided to enter her anyway. Well, she took 3rd place. Not bad for not being prepared...
I do not have any pictures of the event. Sorry, I was too busy assisting Sarie in giving the rescue message that is her mission. After all, she is the "Good Will Rescue Ambassador Extraordinaire". I also had to keep her safe, because she did get a little mouthy with the dogs that were too excited!

Believe it or not, these like to be petted. Put your hand at the entrance to their den & they'll stick a tentacle out and gently explore it. Stroke the tentacle & they'll respond with further interaction. An amazing experience!
