Fire In The Sky . When the first European artists sent back their paintings of American seasons, no one in Paris and London believed them. Even today, to someone who grew up with autumnal yellows and browns, the colors are absolutely remarkable. The fiery reds are not simply what is left when the trees pull back their green chlorophyll - the trees are adding new dyes just for the fall.
