Google, must you be so insensitive? I didn't watch Columbo, but I sure as hell watched the Princess Bride. So when I see your happy little text message notification, I wasn't expecting the message to say, "Hey...you remember the grandfather from Princess Bride? Yeah, well he's dead." Fix it!

Tony Pino (Peter Falk), along with the other shady characters of Boston, are rounded up for a routine identity parade, in William Friedkin's 70s caper. The old Boston Police Headquarters has been renovated as the Back Bay Hotel. The station entrance seen in the film is now the hotel’s side entrance on Berkeley Street.
Peter is the most genuine human being you'll ever meet. Salt of the earth. God Bless him. This picture was taken by his wife Shera.
Peter Falk, screen legend, passed away today and in my own odd way here's a tribute to my number one favorite TV show star, keen sketcher and all round top man.

In prohibition-era Chicago, the corrupt sheriff (Robert Foulk) and Guy Gisborne (Peter Falk), a south-side racketeer, knock off the boss Big Jim (Edward G. Robinson). Everyone falls in line behind Guy except Robbo (Frank Sinatra), who controls the north side. Although he's outgunned, Robbo wants to keep his own territory.
This is a movie I watch over and over since it contains some great cameo appearances of every comedy star of the time in an hilarious action comedy that's never been repeated since?

As Lt. Columbo would say (and later Steve Jobs). This is my Columbo shelf of DVD's of the classic TV series. Still one of my all time favorites. Current collection includes The original Seasons 1-7 and the later movie years of 89 and 90. The older seasons are the best.
