I still remember the words...

"Beth I hear you calling

But I can't come home right now

Me and the boys are playing

And we just can't find the sound

Just a few more hours

And I'll be right home to you

I think I hear them calling

Oh Beth what can I do

Beth what can I do"

The band's second release, recorded in L.A., 1974. Fairly dark and heavy. Part of my Japanese import of "The Originals" - first nine albums in original art on colored vinyl.

"The Spaceman" Ace Frehley as seen on the playfield of this Kiss pinball machine. "The Catman" Peter Criss also makes an appearance here as a bumper. What a great machine. Seen at the Pinball Expo 2009, held in Wheeling, Illinois.

Not sure exactly what version of Kiss pinball this is, (there are several versions and customization kits), but it's somewhere on this database page:

A non-cutout version of the four KISS solo albums from 1978 is pretty rare. KISS' label, Casablanca, released four individual solo albums from each member in the fall of 1978. Anticipating heavy sales, they shipped platinum. Since none were all that great, within nine months, they were in the cut-out bin (greatly reduced in price, and with the top left corner cut off or a notch cut in the top - hence the term cutout). All four came with a poster of the band member. So, a non-cutout version WITH poster (for your bedroom) is even more rare.

Peter's album is mostly average R&B, with a couple rockers, including a decent cover of Tossin' & Turnin', which was the song that made it into the following year's Dynasty tour live set (one song from each album was included). The lowest-selling album of the four, its producer (Vini Poncia, who produced none of the others) would go on to partially produce the next two KISS studio records: Dynasty & Unmasked.

$15 was a little much. If it were Ace's or Gene's, I would've gotten it.
