Hiking along the Inca Trail would have been impossible without our great cooks. When we arrived at the camps, they were already preparing our delicious food. They do the trips continuously catering to tourists and only earning a modest living. Like everybody else, we tipped generously at the end of the trekking and also offered gifts like clothing, highly appreciated in what is still a poor country.
