Rose bud from the sweet smelling floribunda rose called "Sheila's perfume". An unusual January bloom consistent with unusual weather in San Diego.
Inspired by the DVD cover for the movie "Perfume" which I have since seen. A remarkably unusual and strange movie, but captivating I think. This image makes a lot of sense if you have seen the film or read the book.
I also read the book many years ago.
