Putting on makeup is, at least for me, a very mundane everyday activity. I go through the same formulaic routine every morning and add eyeshadow when I'm feeling saucy. In this photo, I replaced my everyday makeup with clown makeup. I used regular eyeliner and lipstick wanting to add to that sense of incongruity within normality.

Barefeet performed at the Model Library with students from Baldwin Wallace University on 5/16/19 as a creative exchange program. The performance attracted over 300 children, and it focused on encouraging unity and love regardless of where one comes from. The characters in the play were various animals who had disagreements and then later became united. The children loved the show and didn't want it to end! Barefeet was so thankful for allowing them to use our space, and they promised the children more entertainment in the future.
