Playing with old files again. I read an article on performance anxiety, and I wanted to try to put a face on it. Who has not experienced it at one time or another?
The Kodak DCS Pro 14nx was a very finicky camera, but it made wonderful photographs when you got it right. Note: I tried to change the EXIF data, which incorrectly shows the file date as 01/01/2000, but no go. I think there is some tool out there to do so? The original image was an outtake from a customer shoot, created in Feb. 2012.
Great day with super blue skies. Just a bit windy for the morning but nice warm afternoon. The Langley base airshow was very well run this year. Great airshow to look forward to each time it is happening. The last one was 5 years ago.

Dance performance at the Kalash
The Kalash people, also known as Kalasha or Kafir, are an ethnic group made up of about 3,000 people. They live in the Chitral Valleys, in the Hindu Kush mountain range in Pakistan. Most of the Kalash are spread across the Rumbur, Brumbret and Birir Valleys. The Kalash are goat herders and practice subsistence farming.

This one has a little bit more attachments than my earlier Silberpfeil.
It's a difficult scale to work in but I think I'm getting the hang of it.
This one took me a couple of days to get it right, I'm still not satisfied with the 'bridge', meaning the section directly behind the canopy. It's too complex for what it should be.
I would have liked to leave out the black parts on the front but alas, they were indispensable for supporting the front wing.
Anyway, I've got to finish at some point. On to the next one.

Friday morning, Feb. 18th, this will happen again as viewed from the Municipal Pier in San Francisco.
I won't be there myself but if the weather is clear I'm sure someone will be.
I'm planning on a Treasure Island shoot the next morning, the 19th. Twice the distance from the bridge means the bridge will appear half the size with the moon staying the same. Should be some great shots... weather permitting of course.
This was the very last shot I took of the moon that morning, after this it made a quick disappearance.
