Sunday morning in the park, Lower Hutt City, New Zealand. Flowering Pōhutukawa trees (Metrosideros exceisa) are known locally as the New Zealand Christmas tree. Percy Reserve was gifted to the people of New Zealand in 1939 by the Percy family who had lived here from when New Zealand was first settled by Europeans in 1840 until 1939. The reserve features over 1,000 different species and varieties.

Arrived yesterday from the UK: Percy Panda

He has yet to recover from the long journey

Percy doesn't dare come out of the box yet...

Percy Panda is a a bear from the UK crafted in Merrythought a British historical factory. The plush is mohair and the paws are made of cotton velvet

It's a very beautiful hand-crafted bear and I'm very glad I own it .

Meet Percy. Percy arrived at my friends garden in February, just a mile from me and has stayed. He is very tame although a bit noisy at times, certainly wouldn't recommend him as a pet, in fact I reckon someone as abandoned him. Anyway he is happy and because of the location is not a problem to my friends. He could do with a girlfriend so if anyone has a peahen they don't want please let me know :-)

Another shot of 394 last weekend, seen passing through "Percy" in Stark, NH.

Processed in DDG.

British Railways pacific 70000 Britannia, is seen passing Bolton Percy with the 1Z72 Shrewsbury to York special. With A4 Union of South Africa due to follow in half an hour the over bridge was growning under the weight of the lineside gathering.

PERCY:

Thank you dear Cornelia for the beautiful card you sent me with your photo on the front. I'm very happy with it!

I hope to see you soon.

For Percy my friend, he loves my framing!:)

The heat wave draws us indoors.

Percy is my Adoption Donkey from the Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth Devon.Visited him twice and he chose to ignore me on both occasions busy with his friends munching away in the field.

He has turned into a toddler overnight, often having his own agenda and opinion. I take in every moment I can.

The resident peacock at Filoli, foraging in the Café Terrace. He was close enough to touch. I hope to see him display his tail some time!

Hope you've had a great weekend! Thanks, as always, for stopping by and for all of your kind comments -- I appreciate them all.
