The strong colors of this fabrics have captured immediately my attention, togheter with the look of the worker which was carrying them.
I remember deciding to try this on on the spur of the moment one night, as it had hung in my wardrobe for months with the tags still on. I didn't really think much of it at the time...

In this photo, my friend Anke looks like Motoko Kusanagi.
Beside cross-processing, the contrast in the reflection was slightly enhanced.

The white birds, a symbol of peace, beautifully captured here, flying in different directions like spreading a message of freedom and peace. The blue sky and the blue water adding serenity to the picture!

Playing spoons with my friends and fellow expedition team members in the wilds of Western Mongolia. Spoons in case you don't know is like musical chairs played with cards with spoons substituting for the chairs. Cards are passed until someone gets 4 of a kind then they pick up a spoon - once one person picks up a spoon it signals everyone else to grab one as well. Like musical chairs there is one less spoon than people playing so its a fury of action and fun! A first for many of my Mongolia friends which only added to the fun!

After closing the tram network in the mid-1960s, the people of Istanbul thought this old fashioned method of smooth city traveling had been removed, and transport within the city would move faster than before, but this proved false some years later. The uncontrolled increase of petrol vehicles such as buses, taxis, and private cars started choking the streets of Istanbul.
Around 1990, the Istiklal Caddesi became a pedestrian zone, and the tram was restored and revived in 1990, in the form of the Taksim-Tünel Nostalgia Tramway. After a 24-year absence, trams returned to Istanbul. The length of the line is 1.64 kilometers
