For a place called the Sunshine Coast we have lots of water, it is a very typical temperate rain forest type place after all.
We are coming up on the Perseid Meteor shower and of course the full moon will be in the sky. Here is a shot of the offending moon from last month. Shot from my back deck with a lot of light interference with the Pentax K3MkIII and the Pentax 150-450mm lens.

A study of Diadem Mountain from Khartoum lake. Diadem Mountain (1 795m/5 889ft a.s.l.) is a mountain in the Pacific Ranges in Canada. The prominence is 781m/2 562ft. it is near Powell River. The word Diadem means - a jewelled crown or headband worn as a symbol of sovereignty.
This guy/gal popped up while were breaking for lunch which caused us to pack up and follow , at a safe respectable distance at all time. Here I was on my stomach on a cliff over looking the channel
