I enjoyed one of the rare sunny hours these days in the urban gardens, trying to unwind a bit while taking test shots with my new toy : )
This lens has a fairly good colour rendition and creates scrumptious, sometimes wild / crazy bokeh and soap bubbles in the right conditions ... I am positively surprised, but maybe I got a good copy (and I don't need sharpness right up to the edges anyway, lol)

Thanks a lot for your lovely feedback on my last image ... it was feeling like big hugs and has definitely improved my mood : )
Window front of a university building in my city
On this Sunday I only had old manual lenses with me, but wanted to try out architectural images like this anyway when I "stumbled upon" this glass building ...
This 29mm lens is a bit soft at the edges even when stopped down, so it might be an advantage that I'm shooting with a 1.5 crop (APSC) sensor ... and it isn't that easy to get the focus right ... but I had fun playing around a bit ( kudos to my husband and his patience! ) : ))

The unmistakable snowdrop, of course - also known as Candlemass bells (Galanthus nivalis = literally translates to milky white flower of snow).
In England, before the Reformation, snowdrops were gathered at Candlemas to decorate Churches. They were symbols of the transition from winter to spring and of purity.
Candlemass Day is actually on the 2nd of February but, around here at at least, these bells hadn't emerged. They have now!

Saludos.
