We had a ticket for 11:00 am, on 14th February, to go into the exhibition "Winnie the Pooh: Exploring a classic" so had time for a coffee and piece of cake beforehand. The museum restaurant has decoration and is a delight to draw. Carolynn was right, I like a challenge but this one was one I could only tackle by not thinking too much before jumping in with a new Steadter Fine Liner pen.

A number of these adapted vehicles have appeared in York recently. Although the signage says 'bike' it, is a tricycle, the driver's saddle has a large box on it in this view. This coffee stall would have been handy when I walked to work as it is set up by the old cholera burial ground, just outside the city wall at the junction of Leeman Road and Station Rise. I bought a coffee here as I set off walking home the other day. As I placed my order the couple running it said 'Hi, you're Carolynn's husband aren't you?' I had thought they looked familiar but didn't immediately recognise them. Helen was a former colleague of Carolynn, her husband had taught her IT on a short course. He had been made redundant from his teaching job and they used his leaving settlement to setup the business.
